The first one is the creation of an Alumni Plaza at the school. Preliminary locations are either around the flag pole at the current high school or at the proposed new high school or, perhaps, the entry walk (yes, architects have been given the Notice To Proceed with the design of the new high school). To accomplish this, the association will be selling laser ingraved paving bricks. The bricks will be $30.00 each and can have up to three lines of text. While we work with the school as to where the best location for the plaza will be, all the money collected will be put into an separate account and each person that submits payment will have their name listed on the web page as having paid. THE PAVERS WILL BE PURCHASED AT A LATER DATE, AFTER IT IS DECIDED WHERE THE PLAZA WILL BE, so don't expect to see the actual brick until it is time to construct the plaza. You can buy as many bricks as you would like.<br /><br />Please check back in a few days for a link to what the pavers will look like and more information. Now we can communicate with each other through this web log (blog) about some of the exciting things that your Alumni Officers have planned for the next five years before the next alumni reunion. For instance, we will be offering merchandise for fund raising, notifying the alumni about class reunions, we are offering to design and publish your own CLASS web pages, we will even be starting an alumni newsletter. BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP! PLEASE get involved and STAY involved.
